Local Network Business Group Gives Back To The Community
The Bergen Networking Group (BNG) met at the Center for Food Action’s (CFA) Englewood site where Ray Turkin, President, presented Patricia Espy,Executive Director, with the Networking Group’s financial contribution in support of CFA message that “Giving Locally=Helping Locally”. Canned foods were also contributed.
"The Center for Food Action is grateful for the ongoing support of the Bergen Networking Group.  Their support helps make it possible to continue providing emergency food to local individuals and families in need," said Patricia Espy.
Networks are not for everyone, nor are they alike. Mr. Turkin explained that the Bergen Networking Group prides itself on its members and their dedication to the group and to one another. Since its inception in 2005, the group has maintained consistent weekly meetings without the need for establishing stringent policies and guidelines.Their members get together because of their desire to conduct business with one another in a relaxed environment andto socialize as well. This not only makes for better networking, it also places the membership in a much better position to assist visitors who are perhaps seeking valuable, reliable and dependable resources for their own businesses. Mr. Turkin also added that “theBNG members also realize that in addition to the responsibility they have for one another, there is also a need to connect with the community.”
The Bergen Networking Group currently meets most Thursdays at 7:30 AM atPanera Bread, 165 E State Route 4, Paramus. Further information concerning the Group may be found at www.bergennetworkinggroup.com or by contacting Ray Turkin at rayturkin@juno.com.
